Connecticut School of Broadcasting: Opened in 1964 by Dick Robinson. I am a 1995 graduate and a member of their Wall of Fame (Boston campus). The curriculum covers all the broadcast skills needed to succeed in the field, by local TV and radio professionals, with the best state of the art equipment money can buy. CSB is located up and down the East Coast. Sadly, the Boston campus closed in 2020.

Sportscasters Talent Agency of America (STAA): A broadcaster marketing service run by a professional broadcaster in the industry, Jon Chelesnik. Their mission is to help people break into the field of broadcasting. How do they do it? They create customized portfolios that are designed to impress and create lasting impressions on employers. These professionals are different from many people in the industry- they are committed to helping people break into this challenging field.

National Sports Media Association: An organization devoted to the advancement of sportscasting, this organization (NSMA) also gives out yearly state awards to broadcasters , as well as Sportscasters of the Year.

American Sportscasters Online: I am a proud member of this organization, which has as it’s members Dick Enberg (Chairman of the Board), along with Jon Miller, Marv Albert, and Jim Nantz, among other outstanding broadcasters in the field.
